Dancing since the age of three, Leisa has always been acutely aware that how we feel in our bodies affects how we feel in our minds.

Leisa attained her Osteopathy degree with distinctions from RMIT University in 2015. During her time at RMIT, she was employed to teach anatomy and physiology wet laboratories and assist in teaching palpation skills to first-year students. During her fifth and final year, Leisa undertook a placement at an orthopedic hospital in Mumbai, India, specializing in shoulder, knee, and ankle surgeries.

After years of working at urban and rural multidisciplinary clinics, Leisa transitioned to aged-care as a member of the Pain Management team before becoming the owner of the Embodied Health clinic.

Leisa’s passion for integration led her to study a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at the University of Melbourne. In her opinion, disregarding the mind's influence was only looking at half the picture, as pain is only interpreted as such once signals reach the brain.  To further support individuals through life transitions and encourage lasting change, Leisa completed a graduate diploma in Counselling and is currently halfway through her double Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Obtaining acceptance to the Dean Honors Roll in 2025.

Leisa has also undertaken courses in Biodynamic Osteopathy and Trauma-Informed Yoga, with a particular interest in working with how emotions and traumatic experiences are processed through the body, and how these may present as physical and mental distress.

Leisa embraces each person as they are, approaching them with compassionate curiosity. Sharing her safe space to explore, knowledge to trial options, humor and hope,

empowering you to be your fully embodied self.

Leisa is registered with AHPRA and Osteopathy Australia.
